Saturday, September 23, 12:15-12:45 p.m. Join us in the garden as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox. Just like the Vernal Equinox, the Autumn Equinox marks the point in Earth’s calendar where the duration of night and day is equal.

This marks the beginning of the transition into dark as the sunlight hours begin to wane. It is a transitional time when the harvest is nearing completion and the seeds begin their powerful journey into dying, transformation and rebirth.

Autumn Equinox is a time of balance when we express gratitude for the abundant fruits of the season that were born of the mutual creative endeavors of Earth and humans. But autumn is also a time to go within our souls to regenerate and strengthen our own creative gifts. As the world becomes increasingly chaotic we welcome the opportunity to give thanks, and begin the journey of introspection into our personal lives so that we may regenerate our commitment to be a healing force in the world.
